Celebrate Fargo’s Black Building with a unique, one-night shopping experience

Celebrate Fargo’s Black Building with a unique, one-night shopping experience

When the cornerstone was laid for construction of the Black Building in the heart of downtown Fargo 86 years ago, hundreds of people gathered to honor the momentous progress of the city. On November 17, Kilbourne Group and the tenants of the Black Building will celebrate the 86th anniversary of this milestone with a one-night, uniquely Fargo shopping experience.

Bring your gift list and your friends to the Black Bazaar, from 3 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, November 17, 20 R16 in the Black Building at 114 Broadway, Fargo. Read about the event in The Fargo Forum.

There will be drinks from Barbacoa, eats from Romo’s Mexican Deli and Catering and Bakeology, and music from area musicians. There is no charge for the event.

Retailers in the Black Building will be open, along with local artisans and shop owners with pop up retail shops.

The Black Building is rooted in Fargo’s history as a destination unto itself. While undergoing its largest transformation since construction in 1930, the Black Building will remain true to its use as retail and office space, serving as an anchor of the downtown Fargo restaurant and retail district. As a tribute to our shared history, the Black Building will once again be a celebration of unique, local, authentic offerings and uniquely Fargo experiences.

Follow the Black Bazaar Facebook event for notifications of new vendors.
