Construction Superintendent – Kilbourne Construction Management

Summary

Kilbourne Group is looking for a Construction Superintendent that wants to change the landscape of downtown Fargo. Kilbourne will be starting construction on a project on NP Avenue near the Old Broadway. The project will have 460 parking stalls, 168 multifamily units and a 30,000-sf theatre. The Construction Superintendent will oversee and manage all aspects of a build site, to ensure a highly efficient project is completed on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and have a clear understand of drawings, specifications, Submittals, addendums, A.S.I’s and RFI processes.
  • Manage overall schedule during construction
  • Maintain Procore daily logs and daily site documentation.
  • Maintain two Open Space walks weekly
  • Maintain site safety/security
  • Provide 4-6 week look ahead schedule
  • Maintain, Document and Communicate T&M (White) Sheets with P.M and Senior Superintendent.
  • Coordinate site logistics
  • Manage security/equipment
  • Manage Day Laborers as needed within budget.
  • Manage right of way safety, closure, and access
  • Manage SWPPP Plan
  • Support preconstruction services process
  • Support closing process
  • Maintain punch list process
  • Maintain quality control processes as developed by Sr. Superintendent
  • Maintain a professional and positive relationship with subcontractors.
  • Maintain a professional working relationship with surrounding tenant’s and neighbors.

Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to frequently inspect the projects and may be exposed to ongoing construction and various weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment may range from moderate to loud. This position may be exposed to outdoor weather conditions.

While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to use hands. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must also occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds.

Requirements

Education/Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management preferred. Minimum of 10 plus years’ experience in commercial, mixed use construction required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
