Maintenance Technician – Centric Management

Summary

Maintenance Technician will be responsible, under the direction of the Property Manager, for the overall maintenance of the residential complex and all areas related to the day-to-day maintenance operations of the community.

Responsibilities

  • Ability to work independently, to organize work, to establish priorities, to follow defined procedures, and to follow through in the completion of tasks.
  • Complete assigned service requests related to repairs and upkeep of properties. This includes areas of heating, plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry, flooring and other general repairs.  Recommending replacement or repair as necessary.  Ensure that all work completed is professional and clean.
  • Performing routine maintenance around the building such as fixing structural damage, window, door or wall repair.
  • Make ready units for new move-ins.
  • Having a working knowledge of HVAC systems and be able to maintain, repair and replace HVAC systems.
  • Schedule and complete preventative maintenance program.
  • Utilize required safety equipment at all times.
  • Complete grounds work such as: grounds pick up, sweeping and light landscaping.
  • Coordinate special projects as directed.
  • Maintains a professional and courteous manner with residents, visitors, contractors and fellow employees.
  • Must have the necessary tools to effectively complete tasks.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Education/Experience

  • 2-3 years work experience in residential or hotel maintenance.
  • HVAC Certification a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license.
