Centric Property Manager

The property manager is accountable for managing the day-to-day operations for multiple rental properties in Downtown Fargo, effectively handling the leasing and renewal process, vendor communication, resident issues, and emergencies.  Assists with managing expenses, setting budgets, rent collection and property maintenance and safety.


  • Ensure the property is meeting occupancy and resident retention goals.
  • Must demonstrate the ability to understand financial goals and assist in the formulation of budgets.
  • Ensures that all rents are collected when due and posted in a timely manner.
  • Generate necessary legal action, documents, and processes in accordance with State and Company guidelines.
  • Provide constant vendor/contractor communications concerning scheduling, billing, vendor relations and certificates of insurance.
  • Ensure that A/P invoices are submitted to the corporate office for payment.
  • Confirm all leases and corresponding paperwork are completed and input in Yardi our property software system accurately and on a timely basis.
  • Resolve resident concerns and requests on a timely basis to ensure resident satisfaction with management.
  • Develop and/or implement resident retention programs (i.e., resident functions, special promotions, monthly newsletters, etc.).
  • Complies with all Federal and Local Fair Housing regulations, ordinances, and safety rules.
  • Maintain community appearance and ensure repairs are noted and completed on a timely basis. This requires regular community inspections and tours.
  • Report all liability and community incidents to the corporate office immediately. Ensure that all workers’ compensations claims are reported, and proper paperwork is completed.

  • Minimum 2-year degree or 5+ years related work experience in property management
  • Yardi Property Management Software Experience (Not required by preferred)
