Staff Accountant

Full time  /  Fargo, ND



Ensure the accurate and timely accounting of all transactions, and assure all proper procedures and internal controls are in place. Analyze financial information and prepare financial reports to determine or maintain record of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability, or other financial activities.



  • Accounts payable and accounts receivable, including communicating with business partners to research and resolve reconciling items and outstanding issues
  • Process monthly property management statements
  • Process intercompany transactions and reconcile intercompany postings
  • Manage employee expense reporting and credit card reconciliation and payment process
  • Maintain general ledger to include the preparation of journal entries
  • Maintain development cost schedules
  • Update and maintain debt schedules
  • Perform bank reconciliation monthly
  • Forecast cash requirements
  • Update and maintain asset inventory and monthly depreciation schedules
  • Assist with preparation of financial statements and supplementary reports
  • Assist with preparation and tracking of project-based, property management, and company budgets
  • Organize and maintain confidential files and reports
  • Organize and maintain company organizational and permanent files
  • Projects as assigned



  • Four-year accounting degree
  • CPA preferred


  • Strong Microsoft Excel, Yardi and QuickBooks skills
  • Ability to act independently and proactively, multitask and thrive in the busiest of environments
