Our History
Founded in 2006, Kilbourne Group is driven by a passion for creating spaces that foster community and an expert understanding of how design and amenities can meet the growing demand for walkable, mixed-use neighborhoods. Our team is guided by the belief that vibrant neighborhoods are the foundation of smart, healthy cities. To date, we have focused on historic redevelopment, transforming surface parking lots, and executing mixed-use infill projects, all with the goal of creating dynamic 18-hour cities that offer unique, people-centered experiences.
Kilbourne Group has worked with The City of Fargo to assist in meeting the community’s master plan that includes Downtown Fargo becoming a thriving hub for all. Through this partnership the neighborhood has grown to become home to over 300 distinctive retail stores, more than 5,000 residents, 2 million square feet of office space, and over 21,000 employees. As we continue to grow, we excited about the possibility of injecting this new energy into cities across the United States who want residential, commercial, and retail spaces that create environments where residents and visitors can walk, bike, live, work, play, shop, learn, explore, and create.
