LISTEN: Kilbourne Group Introduces The Avery in Downtown Fargo

Adrienne Olson, our vice president of communications, joined Bonnie & Friends recently to talk about our newest project in downtown Fargo: The Avery. Set to break ground later this year, the project will be the new home of the Fargo-Moorhead Community Theatre (FMCT). The building itself will draw from NP Avenue’s history as Machinery Row. The site—currently a surface parking lot between Old Broadway and Renaissance Hall—was once home to the Avery Tractor Company, and the new building’s name was chosen to honor that history.

The Avery will be comprised of a city-owned and -operated parking garage with more than 470 parking stalls, 168 apartments, an expansive new space for FMCT, and one additional commercial space on the first floor. The urban infill project will fill out the 600 block of NP Avenue, creating a more inviting and walkable streetscape.

Give Adrienne’s conversation a listen below to learn more about The Avery and hear about downtown Fargo’s ongoing growth as a vibrant neighborhood.
