The official groundbreaking for the project took place in early 2024.
Fargo city officials said the parking garage aspect of the project is expected to be turned over to the city in August.
The shell of the new Fargo Moorhead Community Theatre complex is expected to be completed in July and interior work will follow.
The theater aspect of the overall project is expected to be completed in the fall of 2026.
The theater complex will have a 400-plus seat theater and classrooms, as well as about 2,440-square-feet of commercial space available for rent.

The first phase of the Avery apartment complex is expected to open in the early summer of 2026, with the balance of work on that aspect of the project to be completed in the fall of 2026.
In addition to the work mentioned above, a reconstruction of NP Avenue in the area of the project will start this spring.
Partners in the NP Avenue project include Kilbourne Group, a development company; the Fargo-Moorhead Community Theatre; and Global Development.

Overall, the NP Avenue project remains on schedule, with minor delays related to sub-zero weather days, said Jim Gilmour, strategic planning director for the city of Fargo.
