Founded in 2006, Kilbourne Group has a deep passion for urban spaces and an experienced understanding of how design and amenities can respond to today’s demand for walkable, mixed-use, urban cores in communities.

Our team is guided by the knowledge that vibrant neighborhoods create smart, healthy cities. To date, we have focused on historical redevelopment and mixed-use infill projects in downtown Fargo, aiming to create a vibrant 18-hour city that offers unique experiences and places designed for people. Today, downtown Fargo is thriving with a retail district of more than 300 unique retail stores, more than 2,400 apartments, and more than 2 million square feet of office space.

Both history and economics hold that a city’s downtown is the source of its vitality and strength. That’s why we aim to breathe new energy into, and expand, downtown residential, commercial, and retail spaces, and the spaces in between by creating infill projects that allow residents and visitors to walk, bike, live, work, play, shop, learn, explore and create.
