Located in the heart of downtown Fargo, Bostad offers 22 unique homes thoughtfully crafted within the upper two floors of the historic Bristol Building — a Classical Revival structure originally built in 1907.
What was once home to Bristol and Sweet Harness Co., later became the broadcast hub of WDAY, the first radio station in the Northwest and one of the first 100 in the nation. Designed by the Hancock Brothers architectural firm and acquired in 1922 by WDAY founder Charles Reineke, this building at 117 Broadway holds a rich legacy that continues to echo through its preserved design details.
From its signature brick pilasters and sandstone piers to its two recessed bays, the building’s architectural character has been carefully restored and celebrated. What was once a deteriorated shell has been transformed into stylish, modern residences that honor the structure’s historic fabric.
Inspired by Scandinavian design and rooted in downtown Fargo’s legacy, Bostad blends clean, modern living with timeless craftsmanship. With unmatched access to Broadway’s shops, restaurants, and culture, Bostad is where past and present come together to define a new kind of downtown living.
