The Woodrow Apartments is a $13.2 million historic redevelopment project by Kilbourne Group that transformed the 100-year-old Woodrow Wilson School into a modern residential community while preserving its architectural character. The project renovated the 34,000-square-foot former school into 97 unique units.

Many apartments in the historic school highlight original details, including 20-foot ceilings with exposed rafters, refinished wood floors, and exposed clay block and plaster walls. Creative reuse of the building’s spaces turned former restrooms into efficiency units, locker rooms into two split-level apartments with living space in the old boiler room, and the original gymnasium into a modern exercise facility.

Residents enjoy premium amenities such as heated underground parking, a community lounge and game room, a multi-purpose gym, and an outdoor patio with a pergola, fire pit, and grills.

Units feature in-demand finishes like quartz countertops, walk-in closets, central air, and in-unit laundry. The development also includes a new 2,500-square-foot retail building on the southwest corner of the block, further enhancing the community.
