The Landing at 1001 NP is a $30 million mixed-use development at 1001 Northern Pacific Avenue in downtown Fargo. The project broke ground October 2020 and officially began welcoming residents to their new homes in August 2022. The name is a nod to the site’s historical roots as a planing mill served by a Northern Pacific rail spur. The project is designed to create a strong welcome to Fargo’s walkable downtown as visitors enter from the 10th Street underpass. The Landing is situated on the western edge of downtown in the burgeoning U10 neighborhood, with some one-of-a-kind neighbors:
Kilbourne Group aimed to establish a gateway to this evolving neighborhood. Our team was inspired by the future of the site, as the now-complete project aligns with the goals of the Downtown InFocus plan by creating another great place to live downtown. Design elements on the exterior and interior have been incorporated to root the project in the site’s history with the railroad, including a platform along the south side of the project which provides apartment residents with an elevated outdoor deck area.
The project includes:
The Landing’s spacious commercial unit on the corner of 10th Street North and NP Avenue offers plenty of room for a new kind of downtown Fargo dining experience to build on the U10 neighborhood’s existing growth. Contact Mike Peschel today to tour the space and learn more.
