The Landing at 1001 NP is a $30M mixed-use development at 1001 Northern Pacific Avenue in downtown Fargo. The project broke ground October 2020 and is schedule to open the summer of 2022. The name is a nod to the site’s historical roots as a planing mill served by a Northern Pacific rail spur. The project is designed to create a strong welcome to Fargo’s walkable downtown as visitors enter from the 10th Street underpass. 1001 NP will be situated on the west edge of downtown, in the burgeoning U10 neighborhood of Wild Terra Cidery, Brew Bird, and the Historic Union, home to Pixeled Brewery and Rough Cut Social.
Kilbourne Group aims to establish a gateway to this evolving neighborhood. Our team is inspired by the future of the site, as the project aligns with the goals of the Downtown InFocus plan by creating another great place to live downtown. Design elements on the exterior and interior are being incorporated to root the new project in the site’s history with the railroad, including a platform along the south side of the project which provides apartment residents with an elevated outdoor deck area.
The project includes:
